Why AWF?

The Africa Web Festival aims to be a place for in-depth reflection on the challenges of using digital technology in Africa’s development. These implications relate to the continent’s youth, women’s empowerment, dismantling countries, strengthening the digital innovation ecosystem on a continental scale, urbanization, climate change, etc.
The ultimate goal of the festival is to consolidate peace by combating poverty, by facilitating training and by facilitating the population’s access to better technologies adapted to social and economic realities.
