The City of Contrecore is revamping its website
By: Jean-Philippe Morin
The City of Contrecœur has redesigned its website www.ville.contrecoeur.qc.ca to focus on a new, engaging and entirely renewed human web experience.
The project was implemented by the Blanco Agency for Digital Creativity, which specializes in the development of municipal digital projects.
According to the city, the site was designed with an innovative, citizen-centric approach. It is intended to be easy to use and dynamic on mobile platforms (phones and tablets).
The web platform is one of the city’s key projects in 2022. Its structure, which is accessible and sustainable, is now adapting to digital best practices. This is sure to make Internet users want to visit the site regularly, which provides an attractive overview of news and events,” Mayor Maud Allier said.
Among the novelties, we note an elegant design, new and improved functions, a smart, simple and efficient search engine, quick links with illustrations to the most consulted pages, an organized and intuitive tree structure and rich content that responds to the information needs of Contrecœur citizens on various municipal services and programs. The history and heritage of Contrecourt is also displayed there. Additionally, there is an interactive map and video showing the city’s attractions. It is also possible to subscribe to the municipal newsletter.
